About OnlineCounter.org

What OnlineCounter.org Is

OnlineCounter.org is a collection of free, browser-based counting tools. Whether you need to tally people at a door, keep score in a backyard game, count reps at the gym, track prayer beads, or manage several counts at once, you can do it here in one tap — on any phone, tablet, or computer, with nothing to install and no account to create.

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Your counts are saved on your own device, so you can close the tab and come back later with everything exactly where you left it.

Why We Built It

Handheld tally clickers are simple, satisfying, and reliable — but you never have one when you need it. Most people always have their phone, though. We wanted a counter that felt as instant and dependable as a physical clicker, without ads getting in the way of the number, without a sign-up wall, and without sending your data anywhere. So we built one, then added the variations people kept asking for: a scoreboard, a big single-tap tally, a plain click counter, and a multi-counter list.

What Makes It Different

  • Genuinely free. No account, no email, no paywall, no trial.
  • Works offline. Once loaded, the tools keep working with no connection, and can be added to your home screen as an app.
  • Your data stays with you. Counts live in your browser's local storage — we never see them.
  • Fast and focused. No clutter, no pop-ups, large tap targets, full keyboard shortcuts, and a dark mode.
  • Works everywhere. A responsive layout tested on iPhone, Android, and desktop.

Our Tools

  • Online Counter — the main counter with multiple named counters, custom step values, and keyboard shortcuts.
  • Score Counter — a two-team scoreboard with quick +1/+2/+3 buttons for any sport or game.
  • Tally Counter — a giant single tap button that works like a handheld clicker.
  • Click Counter — a simple counter for counting clicks or taps.
  • Multiple Counter — a list view for tracking several separate counts at once.

Who's Behind It

OnlineCounter.org is an independent project built and maintained by a small indie developer who likes making fast, no-nonsense web tools. It is not affiliated with any larger company. If you have found the tools useful, a bug you would like fixed, or an idea for a new counter, we would genuinely like to hear it.
