2. Choose the Step
Select ×1, ×2, ×5, or ×10 to set how much each tick adds. Combined with the interval, the step controls how fast the total grows — for example a step of 10 every 2 seconds adds 300 per minute.
3. Pick a Direction (and an Optional Limit)
Leave the direction on Up to count upward, or switch it to Down to subtract on every tick and run a slow automatic countdown. If you want it to stop on its own, type a number in Stop at and the counter pauses the moment it reaches that value. Leave that box empty to count with no limit.
Start, Pause, and Reset
Press the big Start button, or the Space bar, to begin. The same button becomes Pause while it is running, and a small dot shows the counter is live. Press Reset, or R, to set the number back to zero. You can also click the number, or press E, to type an exact starting value before you run it.
